27 Weeks

We have been busy! Last weekend was our Babymoon, to beautiful and freezing State College. It was also Mike's birthday so we had a nice long weekend staying at the Nittany Lion Inn and walking all over campus in the snow. Of course we stocked up on PSU onesies (and booties) for Baby Ferrara, who was tap dancing all weekend! Definitely a future nittany lion...

On Daddy's birthday, Baby Ferrara decided to give him a kick in the mouth, as he was talking to baby with mouth fully on Mommy's belly, causing him to jump. The look on Daddy's face was priceless...


Earlier that week, my friends at work decided to throw a surprise shower for me and my friend Cheryl (due 4/12). We could not have been more surprised as they had us sitting in a fake meeting for 20 minutes, and then made us move to a different conference room, where the party (and the rest of the department) was. It was such a nice surprise, so were the gifts - the crib bedding set, baby's bathrobe and slippers, and a mani/pedi gift certificate for Mommy.




As you can see, the nursery is coming along now. We are still waiting for the glider and ottoman to come in, Daddy's going to build a bookshelf, and of course we have to get the mattress still.










In other news, on 1/29 Baby Ferrara's friend in San Diego was born, Ellie Jones Macfarlan! Ellie is one of 5 friends born within 5 months of Baby Ferrara. Congrats to Mommy and Daddy Macfarlan :)
